Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Artemis Malo, participated in Sofia’s annual forum “EU Meets the Balkans,” dedicated to regional cooperation and European integration.
Deputy Minister Malo reaffirmed Albania’s unwavering commitment to European integration as a top national priority enjoying wide support from society.
She highlighted the transformative impact of this process, which, according to her, has already led to significant reforms for further consolidating democracy, rule of law, strengthening institutions, etc.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the rapid advancement of European integration in the Western Balkans is critically important for European security and stability.
According to her, the geopolitical context characterized by external threats and challenges requires a strong and unified European approach to enlargement, with new policies, tangible measures, and decisive actions.
