The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, who is currently on an official visit to New York, participated in a Virtual meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkans, in the framework of the Berlin Process.
The Minister emphasized that Albania is fully committed to achieve the goals of the common regional market agenda and the implementation of the Relative Action Plan.
According to her, it is vital that the reforms undertaken by the countries of the Western Balkans are supported by a credible Integration perspective.
"The Berlin Process has always been an instrument in the service of a great vision and ambition: the full integration of the Western Balkans into the EU. Holding the First Intergovernmental Conference with Albania and North Macedonia during the Portuguese Presidency of the EU is so important for the credibility of the process not only for our two countries, but for the entire region," said Minister Xhaçka during her speech.
