On the first day of his official visit to the Republic of Korea, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, was received in a meeting by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cho Tae-yul.

Minister Hasani and his counterpart Tae-yul expressed their joint commitment to the intensification of bilateral relations and the expansion of cooperation in various fields of common interest, especially in trade.

The Albanian chief diplomat emphasized Albania’s support for the Indo-Pacific Strategy, which, according to him, aims to strengthen regional security and stability, increasing the role of South Korea as a reliable partner and leader.

Minister Hasani also paid a visit to the ‘Yura Corporation’ company , the global supplier in the automotive industry, which has been operating also in Albania for 6 years.

In the meeting with the executive director, Dae Yeol Ohm, MEFA Igli Hasani underlined that the branch of Yura in Albania is a proof of our business-friendly environment for foreign direct investments, as he considered Albania as a center for the production of various parts and based on environmentally friendly technologies.

The visit of MEPJ Igli Hasani to the Republic of Korea comes within the framework of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
