Public Hearing for Diaspora

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Diaspora Sector, in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) is implementing the project "Harnessing the positive impact of migration for the development of Albania", funded by the IOM Development Fund.

 

The project aims at supporting the efforts of the Albanian government in the process of engaging Albanian communities abroad to contribute to the economic, social and political development of the country.

Blerta KADZADEJ obtained a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature form University of Tirana in 1993, where she also obtained an MBA Degree in 2012, from Faculty of Economy in cooperation with University of Nebraska. Consul General of Albania in Istanbul from July 2019, she served as Director General of Economic and Support Services at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 2013 and 2019, Deputy Country Director for USAID Competitive Enterprise Development Project between 2010 and 2013, Program Manager for USAID Rule of Law project between 2007 and 2010.
