The Speaker of Parliament of Albania, Mr. Gramoz Ruçi is awarded the title “The Order of Freedom” by the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, with the motivation: “For the contribution given to freedom and independence of Kosovo”.
The President of Kosovo, Mr. Thaçi stated that he is honored that as the President of the Republic of Kosovo in compliance with the Constitution and laws of Kosovo to assess the role, contribution and extraordinary commitment of Mr. Gramoz Ruçi, during all his legislatures as a member of the Albanian Parliament, for the freedom and independence of Kosovo. “For your personal political contribution to all the political specter in Albania in support of the extraordinary efforts during the war, political transition in Kosovo, Declaration of Independence and now, as the Speaker of Parliament of Albania, one of the main priorities is Kosovo. For this purpose, I would like to award you the Order of Freedom”, – President Thaçi stated.
The Speaker of Albanian Parliament, Mr. Gramoz Ruçi expressed the satisfaction for this high honor during his first official visit in Kosovo as the Speaker of Parliament of Albania. “This is my first decorate and it is a special one because is from the President of Kosovo. I am very grateful and I would like to add that the contribution to the freedom of Kosovo does not belong to an individual”, – the Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Ruci highlighted by adding that the assessment belongs to the contribution of all Albanian political specter, Albanian MPs, and Albanian political parties. “For all Albanians, the great dream of Kosovo freedom and independence has been to make it a reality.
