‘’ Woman Empower Woman’’, 6th of June 2019, in Tirana

‘’ Woman Empower Woman’’ an interactive meeting with COD (Centre for Openness and Dialogue), took place on the 6th of June 2019.
Five well-known Dutch women met in Tirana with Albanian woman engaged in politics, business woman and woman part of civil society. They exchanged experiences and points of view during a discussion on future projects.

‘’The Ambassador of Albania paid a visit to the prison for foreigners in Ter Apel’’- 30th of May 2019, The Netherlands

The Ambassador of Albania to the Netherlands, MS. Adia Sakiqi, paid a visit to Ter Apel Prison. The meeting with the prison governor, Mr. L.A. Huizenga, was very fruitful. It served not only to a better understanding of the situational picture on the ground but also, to intensify the communication with law enforcement structures in the Netherlands.

A delegation of the Parliament of Albania, chaired by its speaker, Mr. Gramoz Ruçi, held a working visit to the Netherlands on the 21st and 22nd of May.
The delegation was received by the Chairman of the Lower House of Parliament, Ms. Khadija Arib, held a hearing session with representatives of the Commission for Foreign Affairs of the Lower House of Parliament and was received by the President of the Dutch Senate, Ms. Ankie Brokers-Knol. The delegation also held meetings to the Netherlands MFA, as well as with various policy-making actors in the Netherlands.

‘’Minister Gent Cakaj meets MPs'' - 7th of May 2019, The Netherlands

The Minister in office for Europe and Foreign Affairs Mr. Gent Cakaj held a meeting today with the Dutch Parliament delegation led by Mr. Hayke Veldman, Chairman of the Commission for European Affairs and Mr. Anne Mulder, reporteur of the Tweede Kamer for Albania.
Minister Cakaj informed the MPs with the performance of reforms carried out by the Albanian government to meet the five key priorities and stressed that the European Commission should assess Albania's achievements objectively, reflecting them in the report that will publish at the end ff the month of May.
