The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, has commemorated the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, as a result of which about 3,000 people lost their lives in the United States.
Via a post on social networks, Minister Xhaçka said that September 11 is a day to commemorate and honor the memory of those thousands of innocent lives lost that day.
"The attacks of September 11, 2001 are one of those events that will hardly be erased from memory. But overall, September 11 is a day to commemorate and honor the memory of those thousands of innocent lives lost that day and to be united more than ever, as a mark of respect for them, against terrorism and extremism," wrote the minister on Facebook.
