The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, welcomed the decision of the Albanian government to shelter temporarily hundreds of Afghans in Albania.
Via a post in social media, Xhaçka writes that Albania is ready to welcome hundreds of Afghans, whose lives are in danger from the aggravated situation.
"We stand side by side with our allies, ready to guarantee their security and well-being," the minister wrote on Twitter.
According to Prime Minister Rama, the first to be sheltered in Albania will be those people from the intellectual circles and women activists, who are among the first on the list of executions from the barbarians in Afghanistan.
