During his stay in Berlin, the Acting Minister Gent Cakaj had a meeting with Jan Hecker, Adviser for Foreign Affairs and Security Issues in the Federal Chancellery.
 
The head of Albanian diplomacy after a presentation on the current situation in Albania, showed the progress of the reforms on the five priorities.
 
He expressed appreciation for the support provided by Germany and Chancellor Merkel to Albania on its course towards membership in the European Union.
 
‘Cooperation with Germany is irreplaceable. A positive decision this coming June will be an additional guarantee intended for consolidating security and stability across the Western Balkans,’ the Acting Minister Cakaj said during his speech.
