Honorable Mr. President,
Please permit me on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of North Macedonia, to convey also on behalf of the Albanian people the warmest and wholehearted congratulations to You and to all the citizens of Your friendly country.
I am happy to appreciate the progress marked by our very good relations and the cooperation between our countries based on the common visions, interests and shared bilateral, regional, global, European and Euro-Atlantic perspective. The friendship and cooperation between Albania and North Macedonia reaches all areas and serves the very good neighboring relations between the two countries, the interests and the future of our citizens.
I am full of conviction that our joint and continuous efforts in the accession process of our countries into the European Union will successfully overcome the challenges that slow down and obstacle the achievement of this very important goal for the future of our citizens, but also of the region as well.
I am glad to assess that the future of cooperation between our two neighboring countries will be successful thanks also to the increasingly better ethnic relations between Albanians and Macedonians.
The Macedonian community in Albania and the Albanians of North Macedonia, who have always been supporters of the state-building and integration of North Macedonia into NATO and the European Union as well, represent sound bridges of friendship and inalienable values that must be preserved, supported and promoted by all our positive energies.
