The recognition of Albania’s progress in this year’s communication on EU Enlargement Policy and the 2024 Report on Albania reflects our strong commitment to advancing reforms and gaining momentum in EU accession negotiations.

We’re particularly encouraged by the Commission’s support for our ambitious goal to conclude accession negotiations by the end of 2027, as well as the opening of another cluster this year.

Albania remains steadfast in fully aligning with the EU’s foreign and security policies, upholding European security principles. We will continue to play an active role in promoting stability and cooperation in the Southeast Europe region.
