Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Mrs. Megi Fino participated in the EU Meets the Balkans Forum, held in Sofia, on 17 April 2025. The forum, organized by the European Liberal Forum, the ALDE Party, and the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, outlined a shared path toward enhanced regional cooperation and faster European integration. It is a well-established platform for strategic dialogue between EU and Balkan leaders, including foreign ministers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and media.

Ms. Fino underlined that Albania remains fully committed to its journey towards EU integration 🇪🇺, while the opening of Chapter 2 this week is clear evidence of this commitment.

MEP Mr. Kyuchyuk, Sofia Mayor Vassil Terziev, The Atlantic Club of Bulgaria President Solomon Passy, European Liberal Forum President, MEP Jan-Christoph Oetjen opened the forum. Bulgaria’s Vice President Iliana Iotova and European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos also addressed this important forum.
