Today Ambassador #InidMilo had the pleasure to welcome fellow ambassadors and diplomats, academic and media representatives, artists, Albanian diaspora Mandritza Association, etc, mayor Todorova of Çuprene, mayor Traykov of Sredet/Sofia and many friends, at the opening Tourism Exhibition “Snapshots of Albania – A Season to Remember”, followed by a reception promoting Albanian traditional food and culinary.
This event – marks not only a cultural occasion, but is also an invitation to rediscover Albania – a country where majestic mountains meet the turquoise Adriatic and Ionian seas, where ancient history lives in harmony with vibrant modern life, and where hospitality is not just a tradition, but a way of life.
This exhibition, featuring 20 captivating photographs of Albanian landscapes, is the work of Bulgarian photographer Mr. Nikolai Shabarkov, whose lens has managed to capture the essence of Albania’s natural beauty with both sensitivity and artistic clarity.
Ambassador Milo expressed her gratetude to Mr. Shabarkov for his remarkable work, and for seeing Albania not just through the eye of a visitor, but through the heart of a friend.
His photographs transport us to the serene shores of the Albanian Riviera, the rugged peaks of the Accursed Mountains, the calm of Lake Ohrid, and the timeless charm of Gjirokastër and Berat – our UNESCO-protected gems.
Albania is rising as one of Europe’s most attractive, authentic, and unspoiled travel destinations.
With improved infrastructure, diverse offerings from nature and culture to gastronomy and adventure, and with a warm and welcoming spirit, Albania awaits travelers from all over the world – including our dear Bulgarian friends and international partners.
