As part of a two-day tour organized by Ms. Rositsa Kirov, Chair of the Bulgarian Parliament’s Committee on Civil Society Engagement, Ambassador Inid Milo visited the Vidin region, rich in historical, cultural, and natural potential.
The visit, which brought together ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from several countries, focused on:
Concrete ideas to enhance tourism cooperation, including:
Cross-border ecotourism and agritourism initiatives;
Meetings with local leaders in Čeprene and Vidin highlighted mutual appreciation and the lasting value of people-to-people ties.
Albania is recognized in the Vidin region through youth volunteering from Korça, the natural beauty of Durrës, and the people-to-people contacts.
This is a small step towards a more connected, welcoming, and sustainable Balkan tourism landscape.
