Ambassador Inid Milo on 11 March 2025 had the pleasure to address a distinguished audience, as a special guest and speaker at the public meeting-discussion on “Bridging Cultures: The Albanian View on Cultural Diplomacy”.

This meeting was held at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, part of a series of events dedicated to cultural diplomacy in Bulgaria and the Balkans.

Deputy Minister of Culture Todor Chobanov, Deputy Chairman of the BAS Prof. Emmanuel Mutafov and the head of the project Asoc.Prof. Alexandra Milanova, Scientific Coordinator underlined the importance of culture in bringing peoples together and increasing bilateral ties.

Ambassador Milo from the start, emphasized the importance of Cultural Diplomacy for the Embassy of Albania in Sofia, focusing in the intensification of cultural and economic exchanges between the two countries. “Bilateral ties between our two countries are strengthening continuesly, and we aim to increase exchanges, especially in the fields of tourism, culture, art, education, etc.”

This event was attended by scientists, diplomats, experts and students of the “Balkanistics” at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
