Albanian Week kicks off in Sofia!
Albanian Embassy in Sofia organized a wine reception on 19 March for the diplomatic missions/artists/etc on the occasion of the screening of Albanian movie WaterDrop, a co-production of Albania-Italy-Kosovo- Romania-North Macedonia in the framework of Sofia International Film Festival.

Ambassador Milo in her welcoming remarks celebrated the remarkable work of director Robert Budina and the entire creative team behind Waterdrop.

With a screenplay co-written by Doruntina Basha, Robert Budina, and Ajola Daja, Waterdrop is a gripping narrative supported by the artistic excellence of producers Daniele de Cicco, Sabina Kodra, Carmen Rizac, Luan Kryeziu, Sasho Pavlovski, and Daniele Segre.
Since its premiere at Millennium Cinema in Tirana and its international debut at the Warsaw Film Festival, Waterdrop has captivated audiences and critics alike.
It was rightfully chosen as Albania’s submission for Best International Feature at the 97th Academy Awards, marking a significant milestone in the country’s cinematic journey.
