On January 27, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Bulgarian-Albanian Chamber of Commerce took place, a joint initiative of the Albanian Embassy in Sofia, Mr. Ivan Anchev, founder of Arkadia Solution Ltd, and Mr. Ervis Taluri.
Invited to the inauguration of the Bulgaria-Albania Chamber of Commerce and Industry were: the Ambassador of Kosovo Mr. Haxhi Bajraktari, the Ambassador of North Macedonia Ms. Agnesa Rusi Popovski, the Charge d’Affaires of Montenegro Ms. Vesna Radonjic as well as other diplomats from the diplomatic corps in Sofia, well-known Albanian and Bulgarian businessmen, representatives of the American University in Bulgaria, representatives of the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry, members of the Albanian diaspora and community in Bulgaria, Albanian students, media representatives, etc.
Mr. Tsvetan Simeneov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chairman of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Bulgaria, and Mr. Vladimir Vladimirov, a member of the BABC Board of Directors, participated as well.
Professionals from various fields joined to promote the establishment of the Bulgaria-Albania Chamber of Commerce, which will be led by the Executive Director Mr. Ervis Taluri and Mr. Ivan Anchev, while the President of the Board will be Ms. Arjeta Puca, founder of Timak.
Ambassador Inid Milo in her welcoming speech appreciated the cooperation with Mr. Ivan Anchev and Mr. Ervis Taluri for their dedication and emphasized that the Chamber of Commerce will serve as a bridge that unites ideas, businesses, and enterprises, bringing them together in order to implement joint economic projects.
This Chamber will play an important role in the field of investments as well as supporting innovation in tourism, renewable energy, and trade. The establishment of the Chamber of Commerce will intensify cooperation within the Albanian and Bulgarian business community in a unique space that also connects the diaspora with its roots. This Chamber will serve to strengthen the economic and commercial strength of the Albanian diaspora.
