Ambassador Artemis Malo joined the celebrations marking the 17th anniversary of Kosovo’s declaration of independence, held in Ottawa.
This anniversary marked a historic moment of extraordinary importance for the Albanian nation and was commemorated with welcoming remarks, performances of traditional music, national symbolism, and an atmosphere of unity and pride.
Participants expressed appreciation for Kosovo’s achievements to date as a democratic and sovereign state, and emphasized the need to continue cooperation between the Albanian diaspora and institutions, to further strengthen the nation’s image and role on the international stage.
In her welcoming remarks, Ambassador Malo conveyed her warmest congratulations on this important anniversary, reaffirming her commitment to strengthening ties between Albanian communities in Canada and promoting shared national values.
