On November 21, 2025, as part of the 113th anniversary of Albania’s Independence and Albanian Heritage Month in Ontario, the photographic exhibition “Jehonë – echoes of the past” was opened at Ottawa City Hall. The exhibition showcased photographs, traditional costumes, and elements of Albanian cuisine and art, reflecting Albania’s cultural heritage. In her remarks, Ambassador Artemis Malo emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting Albanian cultural identity in the diaspora, as well as the community’s role in passing on values and traditions to younger generations. The event highlighted the connection between the past and the future of the Albanian community in Canada and reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to strengthening cultural identity and community cohesion.
