On November 29, 2025, the Albanian-Canadian Community Association (SHBSHK) organized a festive evening in Toronto, attended by high-ranking officials, including the Ambassador of Albania to Canada, Ms. Artemis Malo, and the Ambassador of Kosovo, Mr. Adriatik Kryeziu. Ambassador Malo emphasized the importance of preserving Albanian cultural heritage and thanked Mr. Yvan Baker for presenting Bill C-209, which aims to declare November as Albanian Heritage Month in Canada. Mr. Yvan Baker expressed gratitude for the community’s contribution and highlighted the significance of belonging and community. The evening promoted Albanian culture and traditions, strengthening the ties between the community and Canadian institutions.
