H.E. Artemis Malo, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Canada, hosted at her residence the delegation of Global Affairs Canada for negotiations on the Cooperation Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Canada in the field of air transport.

The dinner took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, highlighting the shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The event was also attended by Mr. Howard Liebman, Vice-President of Air Transat, whose participation underscored the tangible interest of the private sector in expanding cooperation in this field of significant economic and tourism potential.

A symbolic miniature of the Airbus A330 was presented to mark the aircraft that will operate the first historic direct flight.

This step represents a meaningful development in advancing Albania–Canada relations and creating new opportunities for the mobility of citizens, business communities, and tourism between Albania and Canada.
