H.E. Artemis Malo, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Canada, hosted at her residence the delegation of Global Affairs Canada, in the framework of negotiations on the Cooperation Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Canada in the field of air transport.

The dinner was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, underscoring the shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The event was also attended by Mr. Howard Liebman, Vice-President of Air Transat, whose participation highlighted the tangible interest of the private sector in continuing and expanding cooperation in this field of significant economic and tourism potential.

A symbolic miniature of the Airbus A330 was presented to represent the aircraft that will operate the first historic direct flight.

This step constitutes a meaningful development in advancing Albania–Canada relations and in creating new opportunities for the movement of citizens, businesses, and tourism between Albania and Canada.
