The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Canada participated in the event “Governing From Within”, held in Toronto in the framework of International Women’s Day and organized by Equal Voice, an organization that promotes increased representation of women in Canadian politics.

The event brought together women leaders, institutional representatives, and professionals from various fields to discuss the role of women in decision-making and the importance of strengthening female leadership.

During the event, ideas and perspectives were exchanged with Ms. Kathleen Wynne, former Premier of Ontario and the first woman to hold this position, as well as Ms. Charmaine Williams, Associate Minister in the Government of Ontario responsible for Women’s Social and Economic Opportunities.

This event served as an important platform for sharing experiences and promoting equality and women’s representation in leadership and decision-making.
