On the occasion of the 111th anniversary of the Independence of Albania, the ceremony of raising the National Flag was held in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. The ceremony was attended by members of the community, local friends, colleagues from the representations of Kosovo and North Macedonia, as well as leaders of diaspora organizations.

During this ceremony, Billy Pang, Member of the Parliament of Ontario and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism conveyed the greetings of the Premier of Ontario.

The ceremony continued indoors, where a cultural activity was held with works by Albanian composers and a performance by the Albanian dance group of the Albanian Saint Mother Teresa Mission.
