Canada is a global leader in peacekeeping and diplomacy. Albania was one of the selected countries to co-chair this alignment, engaging in discussions with former Foreign Minister Lloyd Axworthy, Secretaries of State, Senators, Parliamentarians, and Ambassadors.

The focus of the dialogue was on the importance of the Ottawa Treaty for preventing landmine-affected areas in a complex world, where real threats challenge the rule of peace and security.
