On November 27, 2025, in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Republic of Kosovo in Toronto, Canada, the photographic exhibition “Jehonë – Echoes of the Past” was inaugurated at the premises of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kosovo in Toronto.
The exhibition was organized in collaboration with Albaniantradita.ca and with the participation of children from the Albanian-Canadian community of Ottawa, offering a dignified presentation of elements of Albanian cultural heritage. The event was held in the framework of the 9th anniversary of Albanian Heritage Month in the Province of Ontario.
“Jehonë – Echoes of the Past” was received with great interest by invited guests, members of the Albanian-Canadian community, and friends of Albanian culture in the city of Toronto, and remained open to the public on November 28, 2025.
Alongside the opening of the exhibition, the program was enriched with a curated artistic selection, including:

Instrumental violin performances of the songs “Baresha” and “Këngës moj” by Klea Cani

A traditional polyphonic collage performed by the Polyphonic Group of the Patriotic Cultural Association “Labëria” Toronto

An artistic performance by the Folk Dance Group “Fluturimi i Shqipes”, under the choreographic direction of Denajda Dhrimaj
The exhibition “Jehonë – Echoes of the Past” represents an important initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Canada in promoting, preserving, and transmitting Albanian cultural heritage to younger generations within the diaspora.
