Canada and Albania share a strong and common commitment to democracy, human rights, and global security. In this context, the new composition of the Canada–Albania Parliamentary Friendship Group was confirmed during its Annual General Meeting.

The meeting highlighted key priorities of the growing bilateral partnership, as well as opportunities for deeper cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Special appreciation is extended to the new Chair of the Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mr. Yvan Baker, for his continued support and readiness to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
