On November 28, 2025, Niagara Falls was illuminated in red and black in honor of the 113th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Albania, continuing the longstanding tradition of lighting the falls for this occasion. This symbolic and meaningful gesture represents a special tribute to Albania’s history, identity, and the Albanian-Canadian community.
