On July 23, 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Canada participated in the Kabul-NATO Dialogue “Building a Shared Future – Young Leaders and Kabul-NATO Relations,” organized by the Afghan Young Leaders Organization (AYLO), with the support of Member of Parliament Ali Ehsassi, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministers for Intergovernmental Affairs and Canada–U.S. Trade.

During the forum, the contribution and commitment of states in support of Afghanistan were highlighted, with particular recognition of Albania’s solidarity in hosting hundreds of Afghan citizens after 2021. Captain Feti Vogli, Major Xhevahir Jazaj, and other members of the Albanian Armed Forces who served with courage and dedication in Afghanistan were honored.

The forum underscored Albania’s commitment to transatlantic security, the protection of human rights, and the promotion of international dialogue.
