On November 1, 2025, the inauguration ceremony of the Albanian-language television channel in Canada, “AlbTV Canada,” took place. The event was attended by H.E. Ms. Artemis Malo, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Canada, Mr. Kadri Dakaj, Consul General of the Republic of Kosovo in Toronto, as well as representatives of Albanian-Canadian associations and members of the Albanian community. Ambassador Malo was accompanied by Ms. Elisabeta Frroku, Second Secretary.

The establishment of “AlbTV Canada” represents an important step in supporting the Albanian community in the diaspora, contributing to the promotion of the Albanian language, culture, and national values, while strengthening ties with Albania’s cultural heritage.
