On July 15, 2025, within the framework of the “Albanians for Albania” initiative, Ambassador Artemis Malo held a meeting with Mr. Kostandin (Nini) Ristani, one of the most prominent figures of the Albanian diaspora in Canada.

Kostandin (Nini) Ristani, with over 27 years of experience in the Canadian public administration and NATO technical structures, and recognized in 2023 by the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his contributions, is also known for his active engagement in issues concerning the Albanian diaspora in Canada.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the role of the diaspora in strengthening bilateral relations, opportunities for engaging Albanian professionals in joint projects, and initiatives to promote Albanian language and culture in Canada.
