On November 26, 2025, the Embassy of Albania in Canada held an official reception on the occasion of the 113th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Albania. The event was attended by senior representatives of the diplomatic corps, federal institutions, members of Parliament and the Senate, association leaders, and members of the Albanian-Canadian community. In her welcoming remarks, Ambassador Artemis Malo highlighted the bilateral relations between Albania and Canada, Albania’s progress toward European integration, and the contribution of the Albanian community in strengthening the friendship between the two countries. The ceremony featured an artistic program with national anthems, songs, traditional dances, instrumental performances, and promotional videos showcasing Albanian culture, as well as exhibitions of traditional costumes and national souvenirs, emphasizing Albania’s cultural heritage and identity.
