Mrs. Artemis Malo has served in the position of the Deputy Minister in the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs during the period 2017-2019 and 2021-2024.
From 2019 to 2021, Mrs. Malo has served as a Member of Parliament of the Republic of Albania. During this time, Mrs. Malo has been a member of the Commission for National Security, the Commission for European Integration, the Economic Commission, as well as the Commission for Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights.
Mrs. Artemis Malo holds a PhD in Comparative Linguistics and a Master’s degree in the field of Linguistic Translation. She holds a degree in English Philology and Civilization with the title “Docent”.
Mrs. Malo holds a university degree from the Faculty of Law and a Master degree LLM on Public Law Administration.
Mrs. Artemis Malo, for almost two decades, has been engaged in several universities inside and outside the country, as well as in the inclusion and activation of the young generation in social issues, especially in the protection of the rights of minorities and the role of women, and in the elimination of racial or gender discrimination.
Mrs. Artemis Malo is the author of several publications in scientific journals inside and outside the country, in the field of linguistics, linguistic comparison, policies on the regulation of the correct use of standard Albanian language, translation adaptations, national minorities, the role of women and gender equality.
In addition to her mother tongue, Mrs. Malo is fluent in English, French, Greek and Italian.
Mrs. Artemis Malo has two children, Theodhora and Elena.
