Mrs. Artemis Malo served as Deputy Minister in the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in the period 2017-2019 and 2021-2024.
From 2019 to 2021, Ms. Malo served as Deputy of the Gjirokastra District in the Parliament of the Republic of Albania. During this time, Ms. Malo was a member of the Committee on National Security, the Committee on European Integration, the Committee on Economy, as well as the Committee on Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights.
Mrs. Artemis Malo holds a PhD in Comparative Linguistics. For 14 years, Mrs. Artemis Malo has been engaged in several universities in Albania and abroad, as well as in various engagements in the inclusion and activation of the younger generation in social issues, especially in the protection of minority rights and the role of women, as well as in the elimination of racial or gender discrimination.
Mrs. Artemis Malo is the author of several publications in scientific journals in Albania and abroad in the field of linguistics, linguistic comparison, policies on the regulation of the correct use of standard Albanian, translation adaptations, national minorities, the role of women and gender equality.
In addition to her native language, Mrs. Malo is fluent in English, French, Greek and Italian.
Mrs. Artemis Malo has two children, Theodhora and Elena.
