On July 8, 2024, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, for European Affairs, Ambassador Khalid I. Emara, received Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sami Shiba. During this meeting they reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation between the Egypt and Albania and ways to enhance them in all fields, in addition to discussing issues of common interest. During the meeting, they also discussed about the organization of Diplomatic Consultations (DC) with Egypt, the exchange of high-level visits, the holding of the first Session of the Joint Economic Commission, the increase of trade exchanges, etc.
