On July 14, 2024, Ambassador Sami Shiba presented the Credentials to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Arab Republic of Egypt, resident, during a ceremony at the Etihadya Palace, Cairo, Egypt. The Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Expatriate Affairs, Ambassador Badr Abdelatty, also attended the ceremony.

In the meeting, after the presentation of the letters, the strengthening of relations between the two countries was discussed, as well as various issues of common interest, etc.
