The First High-Level Ministerial Visit by an Egyptian Official to Albania in Nearly 20 Years took place in Tirana, on 12-14 December 2025. The Egyptian Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Al-Mashat and the Albanian Minister of Economic and Innovation, Mrs Ibrahimaj have concluded  the First Session of the Joint Committee for Economic Cooperation.

Minister Ibrahimaj and Minister Al-Mashat have signed two Memoranda of Understanding to exchange expertise in economic development policies and to enhance joint investments between the two countries.
