On June 28, 2025, at the premises of the Albanian Embassy in Cairo, a meeting was organized with a group of Albanians in Egypt. The Ambassador, after thanking them for their participation and contribution to the promotion of Albania in Egypt, advised them that, referring to the situation in the Middle East, they should keep in touch with the Embassy and, in cases of emergency, seek assistance. Also, at the meeting, the Minister Counsellor, also Consul of the Embassy, ​​Mr. Harilla Goga, was introduced, who offered the Albanians the commitment to be in constant contact with them and to promptly consider their requests. Referring to the interest of some Egyptian citizens of Albanian origin, it was announced that we are ready to bring the necessary textbooks for those who wish to learn the Albanian language. The compatriots thanked the Embassy for the meeting and the continued support they have received and expressed their desire for such meetings to be held in the future, as a very good opportunity to get to know each other, meet and talk with each other.
