On June 15, 2025, within the framework of economic diplomacy, Ambassador Sami Shiba met with Egyptian investors, namely Mr. Mohamed Farouk, Chairman of New Generation Investment (NGI), Mr. Hossam Hassanein, General Director, of NGI, Eng. Mustafa Nassef, Chairman of SAFFA Group, who, after presenting their investment fields and countries where they have investments such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Cyprus, Turkey, etc., expressed their interest in expanding their investment in Albania.
The company leaders, during the meeting, after presenting some of the investments in Egypt, Cyprus and Turkey, stated that they have decided to expand their investments in Albania, since from the information we have, Albania offers considerable opportunities and is open to foreign investors. They expressed interest in investments in tourism, construction, real estate, hospitality, agriculture, etc., adding that they have cooperation with many other well-known investors and, normally, can cooperate for investments in Albania.
