On December 22, 2024, within the framework of economic diplomacy, Ambassador Sami Shiba received the representatives of the Egyptian and Middle Eastern Investors Group, namely Eng. Mahmoud Ahmed, President of the Egyptian Investors Group and Mrs. Aya Dawidar, President of Luxury Trade LL.C, who expressed the interest of the Egyptian and Middle Eastern Investors Group in expanding their investments in Albania and, in this context, to contribute to the deepening of economic cooperation between Egypt and Albania. They also requested support for a possible meeting with the relevant authorities in Albania to explore potential areas of cooperation and investment. The Group is specialized in sectors such as construction, real estate development, renewable energy, tourism, hotel management, automotive, etc., and has a proven track record of successful projects at both local and international levels. The group, as they expressed, which we confirmed to them, has identified Albania as a country with extraordinary and dynamic potential for foreign investment, where the strategic location, vibrant culture, and commitment to economic development have attracted their interest.
