Geneva hosts the highest number of international organisations in the world, including a vast range of UN bodies, agencies and programmes, as well as the World Trade Organization and other important non-UN organisations, such as the International Committee of the Red Cross. 177 States are represented by a Permanent Mission in Geneva, and over 400 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and 19 platforms play an important advocacy role throughout the system.
The Permanent Mission of Albania engages with every organisation that Albania is a member of, or an observer to. We work with other countries and private sector organisations to ensure that Albania’s interests and views are taken into account.
The Mission focuses on Albania’s participation in international organisations and does not provide consular services.
