In the framework of the 34th International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent and organizational meetings, a delegation of the Albanian Red Cross participates in the work of the Conference.

The Ambassador of Albania to the Office of the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, Ms. Vasilika Hysi, held a meeting with the representatives of the Albanian Red Cross: Mr. Ylli Alushi, Mr. Artur Kartuci and Mrs. Elvetina Stillo.

During the meeting, the role of the Red Cross in Albania was discussed in preparing and responding to disasters and civil emergencies and first aid; international cooperation in these difficult times and with conflicts in many countries of the world, first aid training, among others.

The Albanian Red Cross was established in 1921.
