The Ambassador of Albania to the Office of the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, Mrs. Vasilika Hysi held a meeting with Mrs. Chitralekha Massey, Chief of the Section on the Rights of Older Persons, Economic and Social Development Affairs Branch at the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation between the Mission of Albania and the Office of the High Commissioner for addressing the promotion and protection of the rights of the elderly in Geneva were discussed.

Albania, as a member of the Human Rights Council, is committed to promoting and protecting the rights of every person without discrimination, including the elderly.
