The 149th session of the Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union started today in Geneva.

The delegation of Albania is headed by the Speaker of the Assembly of Albania, Mrs. Elisa Spiropali.

During the official visit to Geneva, as part of the participation in the Assembly, the Speaker of the Assembly of Albania, Mrs. Elisa Spiropali visited the Mission of the Republic of Albania.

During the meeting, the role of Albania as a member of the Human Rights Council, reports within the conventions and the process of the Universal Periodic Review of Albania, which will take place on November 4, 2024, were discussed.
