Albania, as a member of the HRC, is committed to supporting multilateralism and the inclusion of small and less developed countries in the Council.

In the activity organized by the Mission of the Maldives and Mauritius in cooperation with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights regarding the commitments of the states to support the Trust Fund for the least developed countries and small islands developing states, Ambassador Ms. Vasilika Hysi reiterated the importance of funds for the promotion of inclusiveness and praised the efforts of the countries for the Trust Fund.

Albania is committed to support technical assistance as an important component of the Commissioner’s activity.

Albania will continue to promote policies that support the engagement and participation of small countries in the Human Rights Council and the United Nations system.
