The staff of the General Consulate in Istanbul was welcomed in a friendly meeting at the Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul which dates back to 1911, by the Vice Rector of the University, Mrs. Kamuran Nur Bekiroglu, Dean, Prof. Doctor Halit Keskin and from the Director of the Research Center for the Balkans and the Black Sea at this university, Prof. Doctor Mehmet Hacisalihoglu.

In the research center of the University for six years under the care of Mr. Qamil Bytyqi, open Albanian language courses are held for Turkish students. Consul General, Mrs. Kadzadej congratulated Mr. Bytyqi for this initiative and the students for their desire and good will for learning the Albanian language. Afterwards, the Consulate staff participated in an Albanian lesson.
