Consul General Armand Shandro
Mr. Armand Shandro is a career diplomat of the Albanian Foreign Service. Currently serving as the Consul General of the Republic of Albania in Istanbul, he has held various significant positions in Albanian embassies worldwide, including Deputy Chief of Mission at the Albanian Embassy in Washington, D.C., Counselor at the Permanent Mission of Albania to the United Nations in New York, and Charge D’Affaires of the Albanian Embassy in Tokyo.
With a background in law and political science, Mr. Shandro has also contributed to academia by teaching at the University of Tirana and the Albanian University. He has also been a member of the Albanian Adoption Committee.
Armand Shandro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Tirana, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Bucharest, and a Master’s Degree in International Relations and European Integration. He is fluent in English, Romanian, and Italian.
He is married to Manjola Karame and has two children, Marko and Darla.
