On the eve of the Japan-Albania Business Forum that is taking place in Tokyo, together with representatives of Albanian institutions participating in the forum, we held several meetings, thus intensifying contacts with Japanese partners.
Both in the meetings with the President of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), as well as in those with senior officials at the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the mutual commitment to continue the current level of exchanges was emphasized with the aim of obtaining Japanese expertise involved in infrastructure projects, further strengthening economic and trade cooperation, encouraging Japanese investments in our country, creating opportunities for contacts between interested businesses in both countries, as well as the implementation of joint projects.
At the business networking reception where the Albanian delegation also participated, in addition to welcoming the attendees, Ambassador Ermal Muça appreciated the cooperation with the Japan Institute for Overseas Investment, and invited the attendees to taste the Albanian products offered by our Embassy in Tokyo.
