During the visit to Japan, Prime Minister Edi Rama participated in the meeting with the Japan-Albania Parliamentary Friendship League, chaired by Minoru Kiuchi, Minister for Growth Strategy of Japan, with whose unwavering support we are successfully working to increase contacts and exchanges between Albania and Japan. During the meeting, Prime Minister Edi Rama awarded Minister Minoru Kiuchi the “Grand Star of the Benemerenti Medal of the Prime Minister of Albania”, in appreciation for his long-term contribution to strengthening Albania-Japan relations and for his role as chairman of the Japan-Albania Parliamentary Friendship League. The medal was awarded for his many years of commitment to deepening political, diplomatic, and human cooperation between Albania and Japan.
