68th Anniversary of peace ceremony in Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Japan commemorated on August 6 and August 9 the 68th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, with the commitment to work for a nuclear free world.About 50,000 people gathered in Hiroshima’s Peace Park, near the cenotaphic built on the epicenter of the nuclear outbreak. Members of the Japanese government, the UN and the diplomatic corps attended the annual ceremony. In this ceremony, H.E. Ambassador Bujar Dida of Albania was invited to put the crown of flowers on behalf of the diplomatic corps.

To celebrate the 90th anniversary of diplomatic relationships between Albania and Japan, Tenor Oohashi Koji and Soprano Nakajima Ko together with the embassy organized a concert on the 15th of December 2012 at the Hibiya Kokaido. At this event, various songs from famous composers were sung along with famous Japanese and Albanian lyrics.
