The Albanian PrimeMinister, Mr. Edi Rama welcomed today in his office, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan, Mr. Bunmei Ibuki together with the accompanying parliamentary delegation, who are visiting Albania on a three day official trip.
Prime minister Rama commended the very good relations standing between Japan and Albania. The Albanian government expressed its firm commitment to expand the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, into new dimensions in the future. As a result of government policies Albania has witnessed considerate growth in foreign investment. MP Rama invited Japanese foreign investors to discover untapped potential in sectors such as agriculture and tourism.
On his part, the Mr. Ibuki praised the progress made by Albania in important areas and achievements in consolidating democracy and strengthening the rule of law. He added that this visit will serve to identify and develop new collaborative spaces in various sectors. He stressed that Japan is ready to support through joint projects in areas of interest for both countries.
